نادجا هي قصّةٌ ذات طابع سير ذاتيّ، يدور جزءٌ كبير منها حول علاقة بريتون بإمرأةٍ شابّة، هي ليونا ديلكور، التي كانت تُسَمّي نفسها نادجا (وكان الكاتب قد التقاها بباريس، في بدايات أكتوبر 1926)، وتنتهي بــ"التّغنّي" بعلاقة عِشقيّة جديدة، كانتْ قد جمعته مع إمرأة تُسمّى سوزان ميزار.
